Established on August 11 1969 PALIWAL COLLEGE SHIKOHABAD is a premier educational institute of Agra region and is affiliated to DR. BHIM RAO AMBEDKAR UNIVERSITY, AGRA. T the college is presently catering to education in science subjects only at undergraduate and post graduate level.

The college is accredited with B+ grade by NAAC and is included under 2f and 12(b) of UGC.

At the under graduate level the courses offered are B.Sc. (Bio Group) with the subjects BOTANY,CHEMISTRY,ZOOLOGY/SEED TECHNOLOGY and B.Sc. (Math Group) with the subjects MATHEMATICS, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY/COMPUTER SCIENCE. Seed Technology and Computer Science subjects are run under self fianance scheme.

At the PG level M.Sc. classes in BOTANY, CHEMISTRY,COMPUTER SCIENCE, MATHEMTAICS , PHYSICS AND ZOOLOGY are being run. Of these M.Sc. Mathematics is being run as a ragulur course while the rest are under self fianance scheme.

Besides these Diploma courses - POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER PROGRAMMING (PGDCP) and POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER APPLICATION AND OFFICE MANAGEMENT (PGDCA & OM)are also offered under self fianance scheme.

The College has a good building, well eqiuped laboratories,a library with sizeable number of books and journals , a well equiped gymnasium and a vast playground .Extra curricular activities in the college include NCC , NSS , Rovers and Rangers, Games and Sports and Cultural Activities.

The college is known in the area for its academic atmosphere in the campus and discipline.The passouts of the college are posted in various fields in the State and the Centeral Government and also in Private sector . They have earned a good name for the college by their dedicated work and skill.

The college is trying hard to excel in the field of science education in general and computer education in particular.The management , the Principal, the faculty and the non teaching staff are working in harmony to achieve this goal.
